Six Word Stories.

This project is based upon a brief which was set by the writers association 26, challenging designers to write and visually present a story in only six words. This idea was originally inspired by Hemingway’s six word story “For sale; baby shoes, never worn.” The story i came up with is as follows: “Troubled mind, beautiful vision, cut short”. It was inspired by creative individuals such as Ian Curtis whose lives ended prematurely as a result of mental illness. Lino Cut. Edition of 8.

Zeitgeist: Addendum + Local Arts, Dj’s and more 15/03/09

An evening at Tapely Park in North Devon hosted by Reel Indie Cinema, to showcase the follow up to the dramatic and controversial film Zeitgeist. The show also featured a small exhibition area in which myself and fine artist Alice Vandeleur-Boorer exhibited a few works. I presented a tryptic of mandala silk screen prints and four paintings based on the theme of metaphors.
